About the Workshop
Join Melanie and Tatiana for Kindling the Inner Flame, a deeply nourishing 90-minute Yin Yoga and Sound Healing journey designed to bring warmth, restoration, and renewal to the heart of winter.
Held during the quiet stillness of the season, this practice honors the Winter Solstice energy that lingers through February—an invitation to slow down, soften inward, and gently rekindle your inner light.
Through long-held Yin postures, we’ll focus on the Kidney and Bladder meridians to replenish your reserves, ease tension in the low back and hips, and cultivate grounding, resilience, and deep rest.
To enhance the experience, the class will be accompanied by live sound healing using crystal bowls, chimes, and other resonant instruments, surrounding you in soothing vibration and dreamlike calm.

Melanie Doulames began her yoga journey in 1987 practicing Kripalu Yoga, initially using it as a method to stretch her muscles after workouts. Over the years, her practice expanded to include various forms of yoga such as Hatha, Vinyasa, Kundalini, Restorative, and Yin.
Through her practice, Melanie discovered a profound sense of peace that followed each yoga session, sparking a deeper interest in quieting her mind. This interest led Melanie to become a Certified Chopra Meditation Teacher in 2023. In June 2024, she completed her 200-hour Yoga Works Teacher Training (YTT) through Yoga Works and shortly thereafter completed 80 hours of Yin Certification with Bernie Clark and Kassandra Yoga.
